Our Vision

We envision a community and a country in which equality and opportunity prevail for all persons and their families, no matter where we come from, what we look like, whom we love or how we worship.
Our Mission
We seek to involve local Democrats and other progressives in working together to strengthen and safeguard our democratic institutions and values, to be informed of issues and events that matter to our community, its families, businesses and workers, and to promote broad engagement with and diverse participation in our local, county and state government.
Our Values
We believe in facts and science, the rule of law and the common good. We believe in government of the people, by the people, for the people.
We believe it is the right of every citizen to freely, equally and easily vote in elections that are competitive and that credibly reflect the will of the people. We believe representation should reflect the political perspectives of the people and that this is the foundation of our constitutional government.
We believe in an activist government that promotes the general welfare by combating discrimination and alleviating suffering, ensuring access to housing, education, health care and well-paying jobs, protecting the planet, ensuring safe, fair, competitive business practices, investing in community and economic infrastructure, and safeguarding our basic rights to stand up and speak out for ourselves and our neighbors.
We believe elected and appointed public officials are public servants, serving in the public interest, subject to public oversight, and therefore readily accessible and responsive to their constituents.
